Introduction to Anionic Polyacrylamide APAM
Polyacrylamide (PAM) is a water-soluble polymer, which the has unique effect of increasing the viscosity of water and to promote the flocculation of particles.
The physical properties of polyacrylamides are decided by copolymerizing with a variety of different vinylic monomers. Polyacrylamide can be manufactured as cationic, non-ionic, or anionic polymer. Both cationic and anionic polyacrylamides are produced by the process of copolymerisation of acrylamide. Cationic polyacrylamides are useful for flocculation of sewage sludge and various industrial wastes, as well as retention aids in the paper industry.

Application of Anionic Polyacrylamide APAM:
1. Polyacrylamide can't be put directlry into sewage, so dissolve in water before using Polyacrylamide.
2. The dissolved water should be clean water, and without heating, but the temperature can't be cold. The temperature is higher
than five degress Celsius. Otherwise it will be dissolve very slowly. Temperature above 40 degrees Celsius affect the use effect.
3. Notice: Don't use strong acid, strong base, high salt water preparation.
4. The ratio range is recommended to be between 0.1% and 0.3%. For example, 1 liter of water with 1~3g of agents.
5. If because of other reasons, the dispersion is not good, we suggest that you mix a little more sparse.
6. The water is warmer in Summer. Cationic, Anionic Polyacrylamide should be strict for about 1 hour. Nonionic Polyacrylamide
should be strict for about 2 hours.
7. The water is cold in Winter, Cationic, Anionic Polyacrylamide should be strict for about one and a half hours. Nonionic Polyacrylamide should be strict for about 3 hours.
Instructions of Anionic Polyacrylamide APAM:
1. When using the product, it is important to disperse the product in water, otherwise it will cause polyacrylamide caking and produce "fisheye", and the dissolution time will increase.
2. When the product is dissolved, the water with low hardness is required.
The dissolving tank is free from materials that can easily affect the water quality.
3, the use of warm water can speed up the dissolution rate, but the temperature is too high, will lead to thermal degradation of molecular chains, viscosity will be affected, the general water temperature can not exceed 50℃.
4, the use of stirring is conducive to dissolution, but too violent stirring will make the polymer long chain fracture and degradation, the agitator adopts the ship propulsion type, the speed of 200-500rpm.
5, under normal circumstances, the first polyacrylamide dissolved into 0.05%-0.5% standby.
6, polyacrylamide dosage is different according to the use of different.
