Product Description
Detailed Specifications & Features
Cationic Polyacrylamide Powder CPAM Sludge Dewatering Chemical for Slaughterhouse Wastewater Treatment 20-55% Ionicity
Product Overview

Our Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) Powder is a high-performance organic flocculant specifically formulated for slaughterhouse wastewater treatment. Slaughterhouse effluent contains high concentrations of blood, fat, protein, suspended solids, and organic matter, making it one of the most challenging industrial wastewaters to treat. Our CPAM delivers exceptional coagulation, flocculation, and sludge dewatering performance for this demanding application.

Why CPAM for Slaughterhouse Wastewater?

Slaughterhouse wastewater typically has COD levels ranging from 2,000 to 8,000 mg/L, BOD from 1,000 to 5,000 mg/L, and high concentrations of oil & grease, blood residues, and colloidal organic particles. Cationic polyacrylamide neutralizes the negative charges on these organic colloids, forming dense flocs that settle rapidly and dewater efficiently.

Key Benefits
  • Rapid Floc Formation: Forms large, dense flocs within seconds, dramatically accelerating solid-liquid separation
  • High COD/BOD Reduction: Achieves 70-90% reduction in COD and suspended solids when used with dissolved air flotation (DAF) or sedimentation systems
  • Superior Sludge Dewatering: Produces compact, low-moisture sludge cake, reducing disposal volume and transportation costs
  • Wide pH Tolerance: Effective across pH 4-9, compatible with typical slaughterhouse effluent conditions
  • Low Dosage, High Efficiency: Typical dosage 2-10 mg/L, significantly lower than inorganic coagulants
  • Cost-Effective Operation: Reduces polyaluminum chloride (PAC) and ferric chloride consumption by 30-50%

Application Guide for Slaughterhouse Wastewater
  1. Solution Preparation: Dissolve CPAM powder at 0.1-0.3% concentration using clean water with mechanical stirring at 200-400 rpm. Allow 45-60 minutes for complete dissolution.
  2. Dosage: Typical dosage is 2-10 mg/L. Conduct jar tests to determine the optimal dosage for your specific wastewater composition.
  3. Dosing Point: Add after primary screening and grit removal, before DAF unit or sedimentation tank for best results.
  4. Combined Use: For heavily loaded slaughterhouse effluent, use with PAC (100-300 mg/L) as a primary coagulant for optimal performance.
Packaging & Storage
