Nickel Smelting Process Applications
- Ore Crushing & Grinding: Nickel ore is crushed into fine particles (0.074-0.5mm) to liberate nickel minerals from gangue
- Flotation Conditioning: Add collectors to make nickel minerals hydrophobic; then add anionic PAM to aggregate fine nickel mineral particles
- Flotation Separation: Aggregated nickel minerals attach to air bubbles and rise to form concentrate; gangue remains as tailings
- Concentrate Dewatering: Add non-ionic PAM to accelerate solid-liquid separation, reducing moisture content to 10%-15%
