Lower Dosage Cationic Polyacrylamide CPAM Industrial Wastewater Treatment
The principle of using polyacrylamide:
1. Granular polyacrylamide cannot be directly added to sewage. It must be dissolved in water before use, and its aqueous solution is used to treat sewage.
2. Dissolving water should be clean (such as tap water), not sewage. Water at room temperature is sufficient, generally no heating is required. Water temperature below 5 ℃ is very slow to dissolve the product. When the water temperature increases, the dissolution speed is accelerated, but above 40°C will accelerate the degradation of the polymer and affect the use effect. General tap water is suitable for preparing polymer solutions. Strong acid, strong alkali, high salt water are not suitable for the preparation.
3. Polyacrylamide is strictly prohibited to contact with iron, because iron ions will degrade the molecular chain of polyacrylamide.
4. The polymer solution concentration is recommended to be 0.1%-0.3%, that is, 1g-3g of polymer powder is added to 1 liter of water.
